and the show must go on

If I had any doubt of keeping this blog up it was smashed to pieces this morning when I received this message from my IRL BFF: "I just want you to know I'm loving the blog. It makes me feel like I'm right there with you, even when I'm 8 hours away."  I am doing this for her after all.  So ladies and gents the show will and must go on.
