I've gone at least a month without posting a recipe. Mainly because I haven't been cooking. Last week my Uncle Don asked when the next recipe would be up. Well, this one's for you Uncle Don. We had this last night with the Davidsons and Elseas. It's a crown pleaser every time (and you should serve it to a crowd because it serves 12 people). Compliments of Mr. John Hammond and Hoggy's restaurant.
Hoggy's Mac and Cheese
You'll need:
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
1 1/2 c. sour cream
2 eggs
24 oz. shredded, sharp cheddar cheese
2 c. cooked elbow macaroni
2. c. cooked tubular pasta (I chose cavatappi)
Combine all ingredients.
Bake in a 9x13 pan (or 10x13, whatever you have clean) at 350 for about 40 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Enjoy Uncle Don!
