I'm usually the one to use some sort of rhyme or random phrase to remember something important, but here's one of C's.
For the first time ever, I mis-navigated the metro on my way to the hotel Sunday. I'm accustomed to the Orange and Blue lines as those are all I needed when I interned in DC.
When C dropped me off for my internship 3 years and 4 months ago, he taught me how he remembered which train to hop on when he headed to work (he was there a few months before I was).
You head to your "new job in New Carlton."
Then it's "Home to Vienna."
That's how I safely made it to and from work each day. And I remember it to this day. Which may be the problem I had Sunday because I didn't need the Orange or Blue lines at all.
