the land of 10,000 0 lakes

Rest at ease folks, I am alive.  While my tweets were few and far between I am still alive and kicking (but the cell phone service in Minnesota is not and never has been).

I’m a little late in posting this weekend rewind because our weekend ran a little long.  Last Thursday (early, early in the am) C and I left to head to the Land of 10,000 0 Lakes. (Despite Minnesota being the "Land of 10,000 lakes, our destination didn't actually have one lake in the entire county.)  Our newest nephew Sam was born Friday, April 30^th and baptized yesterday.  It was great to be able to spend so much time with family.  It was also great to get so much baby holding time.  We also had lots of quality time with nephew #1, Paul. 

Instead of recapping the entire weekend day by day (we woke up, ate breakfast, sat around, ate some more, sat around, ate lunch, sat around, went swimming, ate dinner, sat around, went swimming, and went to bed – every single day) I thought I’d just share some pictures.

Oh, and I must not forget to mention our hotel.  We had a jacuzzi IN. OUR. BEDROOM. I may or may not have taken nightly baths while watching SportsCenter.  Life doesn’t get much better than that.
