This weekend is the end of our two months of travels. I did the math and we've been home for an entire weekend just once since May 1st. Tomorrow, as the grand hurrah of our two month travels, we're headed to Ft. Wayne for the Stephenson Family Creek Week(end). At least I think that's what it's being called. I'm pretty sure it will be the most relaxing weekend since April. We're also throwing a bridal shower for our cousin, Jessica, who will be getting married Labor Day weekend. So I'm in the process of making cupcakes (not my regular ones - so look for a post!) and have gone as far to include fondant in the decorations. This is going to make or break my baking future. That also reminds me, I need to finish getting her gift together.
I'm not sure why I am telling you all of this. I
I guess I'll add some purpose to this post and wish y'all (Big Red, am I allowed to say that?) a Happy Fourth of July! One of these years, provided we're home, have a home, and have a grill, we're going to throw a party and have everyone over. However, it may be several years.
In the mean time, if you don't have anything to do, and because I no longer have to work there on July 4th (or any day for that matter), head over to Valley View and catch some of the fish they release into the pool!
