I'm pretty sure my winter wear wardrobe is lacking. In fact, I know it is. I have two sweaters. The first is brown and was purchased in college. The second is hot pink and was a gift from my sister last year. I think it's time that I broadened by sweater horizons. What is not lacking is my sweatshirt and hoodie collection. I have no less than 10. But those don't look so great on a night on town with C. But who am I kidding? We spend most nights in.
That being said, if you are one who actually finds themselves who leaves their house frequently, might I suggest the following...
1. Shawl Zip Sweater. I love everything about this outfit. I also like the button down underneath. How preppy of gap.
2. Caslon Cable Knit Cowl Neck Sweater. I love the "short sleeve sweater with a long sleeve T under it" look. I do prefer black in this case.
3. Cabled Pathways Pullover. Anthropologie is sure bet for cute, ex-pen-sive clothes. I love the detail on the bottom of this one.
4. Dalsland Wrap. Not completely a sweater, but still in the sweater section. While still pricey, this piece would be good for any one's winter work wardrobe. Unless you perform surgery. Then I suggest a nice scrub.
5. Cashmere Cowlneck Sweater. J.Crew spells "cowl neck" as one word. They should probably get this straightened out with everyone else. Who doesn't want to stay warm in cashmere?!? Probably people who don't want to think about sweating in something that is so expensive and so hard to wash.
I apologize for all of the tan/camel/taupe colors going on above. Apparently this is what stylists prefer for the models.
