I feel like I should start this post with some sort of motivational Vince Lombardi quote. Just because everyone else seems to be doing it. But since I know none and don't really know who the fella was (there's a few more sports I'm interested in before football) I'll just leave it out.
We had an uber busy weekend. Nice and relaxing but busy.
Friday night, in celebration of the Mock Trial team not tanking and all the hard work C put into the team these last few months we went to Easton and did whatever C wanted. He decided on Five Guys (Burgers and Fries) and The Kings Speech. I went into The Kings Speech thinking I wouldn't like it at all because I didn't like Pride and Prejudice or Little Women and since all three of these movies take place at exactly the same time in history why would I like this one? Then the movie started and I realized that they had electricity and radios in whatever time period this thing was taking place and then I realized that this was Queen Elizabeth's father and the close familial connection to Prince William and Kate and then I saw the Queen Mum's ring which looks exactly like Diana's and Kate's (still researching) so I was hooked. The movie was pretty funny and I'm always up for a Colin Firth flick (minus any 1600's films).
C and I spent a bulk of Saturday at a Family Friendly Partners Network seminar/pitch thing in Marysville (where they still have ice and snow!). Afterwards we went to Mark's game and watched the Knights beat that Gahanna Christian Lions (I'm not sure they are the Lions, but that seems to be the name of choice for all other Christian schools) and went to dinner with my parents and Emily.
Sunday morning we churched, went to Fiesta Tropicana (that's right, we did not go to McDonalds) and spent the rest of the day folding laundry and watching the Buckeyes beat Minnesota! The excitement is for the Buckeyes. I was neutral on folding laundry. I made beef and noodles for dinner (receipt coming tomorrow. Then we spent the rest of the evening watching the Super Bowl and tweeting our every thought and comment.
That was short and sweet and to the point. You now have permission to go on with your evening.

Monday morning's Argus Leader Sports section blared "Green Day" with all the Super Bowl hoopla. Right underneath was a huge article about the Buckeyes beating Minnesota! Since we get no news outside of roughly a 100-mile radius, I considered it a major, major news day. And OHIO! That's like another country! :)
