Friday evening C and I ventured out to pick up some Chinese for dinner before the ice storm hit. Then we skyped with the lovely Olson family.
Saturday morning we slept in, ate Eggo Waffles (me), watched some t.v. (me) and stayed around the house most of the day napping (me) - I do that a lot now - before going to Starbucks to read (C) and blog and look at nursery ideas (me) with our mocha (C) and Sonic Cherry Slushy (me).
That evening we went to my parents' house for dinner and a Euchre lesson for Mark. He picked it up pretty quickly and I even managed to deal myself a pretty nice hand.
After church and lunch on Sunday morning I napped again (I'm really becoming quite the expert at this napping thing) and then C and I went to the grocery to pick up a few things I needed for a funeral dinner at church later this week. After coming back home and laying on the couch C asked if I was going to take another nap (he knows me so well) but we both decided that wasn't a good idea because then I wouldn't get to sleep at a decent hour which would throw the entire week into a tailspin. Instead I cooked dinner. Yummy cheeseburger pie. We rounded out the evening with C working on some stuff in the office while I laughed my head off watching Amercia's Funniest Home Videos - the dog who tore up the sheet and was found hiding in the corner of the shower was the best.
And there you have it. C's weekend of being an adult and my weekend of napping and watching children's programming. Just your typical Elsea weekend.
