I mentioned last week that Monkey is having some sucking issues that have caused us to switch from nursing to pumping and bottle feeding. Until we get the sucking issue fixed (which could take a while), we are strictly bottle feeding (and doing tongue exercises to correct the issue). This doubles the feeding times because I either pump then feed or vise versa. But as long as Monkey gets the liquid gold, we'll spend as much time as we need getting it for her.
Since mid-day, Wednesday, July 18th, I have been keeping a journal on a steno pad, tracking the date, time, and amount pumped from each side.
Last night C suggested we turn it into a spreadsheet so we can graph it and do all sorts of cool stuff with.
(I don't know how to do an extended screen shot, so here's a bunch of pictures.)
As of last night I had pumped for 23 hours and 45 minutes and produced 231.1 ounces (some of which I've been able to freeze).
That's 19 1/4 cans of coke or
1.8 gallons of orange juice or
7.22 quarts of organic milk or
9.1 bottles of wine or
119 bottles for our little Monkey.
So that's what I've been doing with my time.
