40 weeks

Mister Fartlepants is officially over due.  Since he/she is half Elsea and half Davidson it's really quite fitting. C's quite anxious for the arrival, as am I, however I feel like we have a bit more cooking time left. We'll see who's right. 

Here's the first picture from the new house. We had to improvise since the chalkboard hasn't been hung yet (trying to figure out if we should wait until after we redo the kitchen in August).

How Far Along: 40 weeks

Size of Baby: Almost 7.5-ish pounds, 20-ish inches? Size of a pumpkin (yipee).
The doctor says we're measuring right on schedule. 

Total Weight Gain: Roughly 20.5 pounds from pre-pregnancy weight. 

Maternity Clothes: Uh, yeah. 

Gender: Still a surprise!

Movement: Still moving up a storm in there.  Mainly shifting from one side to the other and punching my bladder. 

Sleep: Sleep is still great. Also taking a nap or two a day. 

What I Miss: Being able to move and get up without C's help. Having a range of motion. Lying on my stomach. 

Cravings: Not much this week.

Symptoms: Slowing down more and more. Also more and more uncomfortable. 

Best Moments this Week: Officially on maternity leave! We are also ready for the baby. Bags are packed, car seat is loaded, baby essentials are assembled, and power is back on! (I was not looking forward to bringing Mister Fartlepants home to a powerless house.)
