Tomorrow we'll be dropping her off at college (she chose Concordia Chicago - shocker!) and next week C will be walking her down the aisle. She has requested their father/daughter dance be Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.
Where does the time go?
Thursday we went to see the Doc for her one month check up. Here are the deets.
9 pounds 4 ounces (50%)
21.5 inches (75%)
Head Circumference: 14 inches
Monkey is slowly transitioning out of newborn clothes and into 0-3 months. It just depends on the outfits. You'd think that baby clothing sizes would be universal, but for some reason they aren't. The newborn onesie I put on her this morning is actually too big on her.
She usually eats around 11 pm, between 3 am and 4 am (and is up for 30-45 minutes to socialize - yay!), and then again at 6 am or 7 am. When she's ready to eat she will let you know and does not like to be inconvenienced by having to burp in the middle of a meal.
In the last week or so Monkey has found her voice, is focusing on us more, and is up for much longer stretched during the day. She also loves to have her hands up by her face and definitely not tucked in when she's swaddled.
