What's up Wednesday

What we're eating. We've been grilling a lot. Chicken. Hot dogs/Brats. Garlic Thyme Roasted Sweet Potatoes (oh my). And Easter leftovers.  Also Angie's BoomChickAPop.

What I'm reminiscing about. School.  I go through phases of wanting to go back to school for my Masters. It's safe to say I'm in one of those phases now.

What I'm loving. This warm weather. Windows open, kids outside, sunsets after 8 p.m.  Does it get any better?

What I've been up to. Not a whole lot.  I feel like these colds (pretty sure I have two) are finally leaving (but maybe it's just the drugs talking), so I'm looking forward to biking more and eating healthier (no more mozzarella sticks for my bedtime snack).

What I'm working on. I'm still working on the puzzle C got me for Christmas that I started after we moved in.  I'm also working on thinning out the bushes (that have grown to the height of medium trees) in the backyard.  We've got a jungle of branches already cut and tons more to go, now to dispose of them somewhere.

What I'm excited about. A date night with C. Monkey has been asking that we "go celebrate" so she and GMac can go to Grandma and Grandpas in the evening. We're going to take advantage of that and go out after C's trial next week (fingers crossed it actually goes this time).

What I'm watching/reading. I just finished Who Thought This Was a Good Idea? and we're also finishing up The Crown. Both are a worthy read/watch.

What I'm listening to. I'm not a big listener. I did get Ed Sheeran's new album (first time I've purchased an entire album on iTunes), but the only time I really listen to it is while I'm grocery shopping.

What I'm wearing. The shorts have been pulled out! And I'm making an conscious effort to wear more heels at work (because they make me feel more professional...now I just need some more professional clothes that fit my post-babies body).

What I'm doing this weekend. We've got no plans this weekend.  Maybe well mosey up to Emily's place. Who knows.

What else is new. There isn't much new in the Elsea house.  The kitchen is almost done. We've painted walls and trim and replaced pendent lights. We still have some doors to hang - no privacy at this place if you need to potty on the first floor :). Next is tile back splash and painting the window trim above the kitchen sink. And maybe someday we'll fit two cars in the garage.  Maybe.
