Hallmark Christmas Movies start this week. My pregnancy emotions are so excited!
I've read 40 books so far this year. Not quite where I was last year, 70!, but still pretty good.
We're hosting our first Thanksgiving this year (with 14+ people) so as you can imagine I have to-do lists galore - groceries, cleaning/prep, menu, meal planning for the rest of the weekend. I do love a good list (or two).
Speaking of to-do lists, I've decided we're going to paint the kitchen back splash prior to Thanksgiving (something we had planned on tiling prior to Easter) and by "prior to Thanksgiving" I mean "this weekend." I can't wait to tell C!
GMac is currently sitting in my lap trying to put together a cube puzzle that took me 30 minutes to do myself. Good lucky, buddy.
We've got one more week of it being light later before we all go into a darkness induced depression until March 8th. The evenings seem so long long when it gets dark at 5:30. During baths at 7:30 p.m. a few nights ago I reminded C how just two months ago at that time we'd be at the pool.
C and I need a funny show to binge watch once Peaches is here. Please send suggestions. With GMac it was Parks & Rec and Monkey's birth timed nicely with the Summer Olympics.
My pregnancy brain isn't allowing much concentration (I've come back to this post three times) so that means it's probably time to call it quits.
