I promise a post dedicated only to Declan, but for now all you need to know is that he is not nursing and is still waking up to eat two times between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The two feeds at night means that I am not quite as functional during the day as I'd like to be. This morning I put made Monkey oatmeal but forgot to warm it up. Yesterday I threw GMac's shorts in the trash when I meant to put them in the laundry room.
I've got less than a week of maternity leave left. Time really flies when you're not sleeping! I was definitely out of my baby fog by this point with GMac, but then again he was only waking up once at night.
What else, what else...
The weather has finally turned a corner here and we're playing out side and going on walks and opening the windows. When I was pregnant I told people the longer Peaches cooked the better because then I'd be home longer with nicer weather. Ha!
We are having a heck of a time potty training GMac. He is unbribable, does not want to go to school, and has no interest in using the potty. I did tell him yesterday that if you're three and go to the pool you have to be potty trained. I will stick with this one. No pool, if no potty.
I have an idea for a potty training business called The Potty People. They come and potty train your kids, but not like that mean nanny lady who used to be on tv. The Potty People make potting fun! This idea can be used by whoever will potty train GMac. I will pay you $100.
The laundry situation here is bad. Way BAD. 90% of it is washed, but the washed part is strewn about our bedroom floor because I can't find time to fold the laundry.
And now my mind is blank (the post title did warn you).
Adios amigos!
